Jake Sheafer began his career in traditional media, where he didn’t just witness the industry’s digital transformation—he led it. By building a custom software team to modernize legacy print publications, he proved how the right technology can reinvent entire business models and uncovered his lifelong passion for innovation.



That passion carried him into the food delivery space, where he launched OrderUp, long before meal delivery became mainstream. Under his leadership, the business scaled to over 5,000 deliveries per week and was acquired by GrubHub.

In 2018, he turned his full focus to technology, founding Delta Systems to help companies harness the power of custom software. Today, Delta is a nationally recognized firm with a team of top-tier, US-based engineers spread across 27 states. From UI/UX and full-stack development to architecture and emerging technologies, Delta empowers businesses to build, scale, and innovate with confidence.
